A Toast to Ruby Here’s to Ruby—the snuggler, the shadow, the squeaky toy enthusiast. To the girl who doesn’t just want to be near you—she wants to be on you, smooshing her face into yours when she needs something, which is usually playtime... or breakfast. To her morning routine: eat, play, take a quick stroll, then play some more. Maybe a nap—maybe. Then it's back to zoomies, fetch, and the grand mission of shaking the life out of her favorite toy.  Look at this video,this video and this video of Ruby running and playing. She’s got hound in her heart and her nose to the ground—leash manners are a work in progress, but hey, we’re working on it! Crate training, too. She's smart, affectionate, a little busybody with a big personality, and she always knows just what you’re asking—she just might decide to fetch a toy instead. To her love of other dogs and her hope that they’ll play with her. To the fenced yard she dreams of, where she can run free and burn off that endless energy. And to the future dog friend who’ll join her in the joy of being wonderfully, unapologetically Ruby. She’s a cuddler, a comedian, a loyal companion, and a toy-shaking ball of love. So raise your glass—to Ruby. May her days be full of play, companionship, and all the squeaky toys she can carry. Ruby is from an owner surrender.
