Fill out the online form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.Howdy! I'm Snickers. I came to Dakota Dachshund Rescue with my bestie Mimi. I am a little timid when I first meet new people. I love sitting on my foster mom's lap and playing with Mimi. I need a 6 foot fence to keep me home as I follow Mimi over the fence if I can. Can you be my furever home? I am 3 yrs old I weigh 9 pounds my adoption fee is $400 plus sales tax $18=$418

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
