If my foster had known more about me before naming me, she would have named me Whaddagoodboy. I hear this waaay more often than the name she gave me. And Whaddagoodboy always makes me smile and come in close for some pets or snuggles. Here are some things you should know about me: * I am a little shy at first when meeting people, but after a couple of minutes we will be friends. Once I get to know my people, I am very affectionate. Despite my growing size, I'm still trying to be a lap dog. Sometimes that works out. If not, I can always lay by you or your feet. I also like to know what you are doing, so I'm going to follow you from room to room to see what's up. * I love to play with other dogs. Especially if we can play tug. That's my favorite. If there are no other dogs about to run around with, fetch with a human is fun too. I'm still trying to figure out the rules but have most of the game down. * I am very gentle and sensitive to correction. I won't jump on you. And I may shy away if I hear a stern voice. * Which brings us to my quickness to startle. If I hear a loud noise or an unknown dog barking, I will scamper away. It does not take me long to come back around. But just know that I am still working on my confidence in the world. * Crating is not my favorite. I'm working on it. But, all in all, my favorite place is by your side or sitting outside watching the world go by. * Oh, and I keep hearing people talk about my fur. How dense and velvety it is. I like it because it gets me more pets. Pets are the best! Alastor is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
