No Dog Left Behind

We are a newly forming dog rescue in MN. We save dogs that are being surrendered by owners, sitting in high kill shelters, or living as strays. We do it because everyday we see dogs euthanized that don't need to be, and we want to help save as many as we can.

Meet Ripley

Hi, they call me Ripley! I'm estimated to me a 2 year old Newfoundland and Collie mix.   I’d say I am the gentlest fluff ball out there.  With all my fur, I look a little on the larger side, however with my size comes my big heart.  My foster family calls me a sweet, chill boy, and I love to wag my tail in agreement.  I enjoy cuddling, spending time with my people, and consider myself to be a lap dog.  I’ll even alert you when someone comes to the house to let you know that someone is here.  I love spending time outside, soaking up the sun and rolling in the grass, usually receiving a good belly rub from my humans.  When outside, I do a pretty good job at coming when called and I can’t wait to learn more commands with my future family!  I also enjoy walks, and my foster family compliments me on how well I walk on the leash.    I love to meet other dogs and people while out for a walk.  I haven’t had any accidents in the house and I’m doing a good job at letting my foster family know when I have to go outside, so I’d say I’m pretty much house trained!  I do a decent job when it comes to car rides. I get a little anxious when riding and sometimes I whine a little, but I hop right into the car and enjoy looking out the windows.   I go into my kennel nicely and after a bit of whining, I will settle down.  My kennel is in my foster parent’s room because I prefer seeing my people.  Additionally, there are 2 teenagers in the house, who I get along with great.  There are also 2 furry cats in my foster home.  I just want to play with them, however they usually don’t want to, so I often just leave them alone.  I’m learning how to play with toys and enjoy chewing on a good bone!  Are you looking for a family dog or a companion who loves being with his people?  If that rings a bell, then I’m the guy you’re looking for!!  I can’t wait to meet you!!  Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $575.00

Adoption Process
Applicant must apply (we do complete a background check), then we schedule a meet and greet, followed by a home visit, and if everything is approved, they sign the adoption contract and pay for the dog, then the dog gets sent home with them!
