Meet Hoss D160725

Name: Hoss Age: 1 year Gender: Male Breed: Terrier / Miniatur Pinscher mix Weight: 10 lbs Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Unknown Kid friendly: Older considerate children House trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Energy level: Moderate History: From a shelter in Missouri Adoption Fee: $350 From the Foster: Hoss is an wonderful little guy! He's full of energy, but is more than happy to hang around with his human and cuddle up on the couch. He absolutely loves humans and is definitely not super picky when it comes to who shows him love! Hoss loves going for walks, but is still practicing his leash walking. He tends to pull a little bit, but he's been getting better. Hoss loves lounging in the sun and running around the yard, so it would be ideal for him to find a forever home with a nice, fenced yard. He's a tricky little guy, so if there is a way to escape, he will absolutely find it. While hoss has been with me, he has had no issues with other dogs. I was cautious about letting him meet other dogs while we were walking, but he has always been very friendly with them! He seems to play well with both big and small dogs and is eager to greet them whenever he sees them. If there are kids in the home that adopts Hoss, it would be preferred that they were older kids. He loves to play and has a lot of energy, so he would be a great companion for kids, but he is a little hesitant around small children. This is something we will continue to work on! Hoss is very good about going into his crate. when you close the door to the crate, he tends to claw at the door momentarily, but calms down very quickly.  He has stayed alone at home out of his crate and has had no accidents, but would be fine if being crated was a requirement. Overall, Hoss has been an absolute joy to have in my home. If you're interested in meeting Hoss, please fill out an application!! All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
