Meet Bob

Hello, my name is Bob! I’m an 85 pound, 1 yr 3-month old Great Pyrenees x Saint Bernard mix. I love going to stores like Fleet Farm and Home Depot for visiting and training. While I’m out and about I love meeting new people and children especially if they give me treats! I'm a huge fan of couch cuddles, paw rubs, and looking out the window at squirrels.  I’m fully potted trained and proud to say I passed puppy and basic obedience class with flying colors.   I’m looking for an active family that has a fenced backyard so I can roam and spend lots of time in the sunshine.  I’m used to walking 1.5 to 3 miles daily and would love to continue that routine. I would also like a family that is home a lot and not gone for 7+ hours a day. I’m learning kennel training now and doing very well. I would prefer to be with a family that has a medium to large adult dog that is calm, or to be an only child. High-energy dogs make me nervous, and I don’t like that kind of high level of stimulation. I’m not a fan of cats even though I think they look like toys to play with. I may have a loud bark when I see a dog or bike rider outside my window, but I am very loyal and want to protect my family and let them know what I see. Even though I am very gentle with people and little children, I would like someone who has experience with my breed and is a good pack leader for me to follow.
