Are you looking for a pup that is playful yet also  loves to snuggle? If yes Luna might be the dog for you! Are you looking for a dog that has loads of personality? Luna might be the one for you! Luna was born on 1/18/23. She has playful puppy energy and curiosity. She enjoys being with her family- human and canine. She will have bursts of high energy and then just as quickly curl up to take a nap. She thoroughly enjoys chew toys and is very food motivated! She gets so excited for her meals that she jumps up on you and if you aren’t fast enough she’ll demand bark. Her foster is working on teaching her that is rude behavior and that sitting nicely brings dinner faster! She is potty trained on a schedule- on occasion will have an accident if you don’t see her cues. Luna walks well on a leash and enjoys exploring the neighborhood. She gets along well with other dogs but prefers larger, calmer dogs. She met a cat and was curious but not aggressive. Luna sleeps well in her kennel at night. Luna has tested positive for Lyme Disease and Anaplasmosis (another tick borne disease). Many dogs live with these conditions with no symptoms but there is the possibility of flare-ups throughout their life.  

Adoption Process
Our adoption process includes an adoption application. After reviewing your application and contacting the vet and personal references, a meeting is scheduled between the potential adopter and the pet, in the foster's home or a neutral animal friendly place. If there are any resident animals within the home, it is required that they meet at this time. After the meeting, a home visit by one our representatives is REQUIRED prior to finalizing any adoption and we must meet all members of the household where the pet will be living sometime during the adoption process. 6 month post-adoption check in is completed.
