Meet Opie

Hello, my name is Opie. I'm a 1.5 year old German Shepard/collie mix. I am the perfect size, about 50lb. My favorite thing to do is play with my ball. I could play fetch all day! I love to stay busy and have lots of energy. I'm kennel trained and potty trained. I know how to sit, shake, come, drop it, and leave it. I can be off a leash and I don't run away. I do currently have a fenced in yard but I do not know how to jump it. I love kids and my best friend is a cat, I also live with 2 shih tzu's, but they are old and don't like to play with me much. I tend to bark a lot, especially when I am excited, but I think that's normal for my breed. I would really love a home with another dog that would play with me and somewhere I can run around like crazy and play with my ball. I also love walks because there's so much to smell and see... but my foster mom says I need some more leash training because I am strong and pull a lot. I would do best in a home that will have time for my training needs and has an active lifestyle. My adoption fee includes: veterinary exam, DHPP up to date at time of adoption, microchip.
