_________ B I O ______________  Name: Jelly Bean Size: (Once fully grown) ~Small range: Up to 25 lbs  Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included) PLUS a $100 deposit is required and is to be refunded once proof of spay/neuter is provided to this rescue. Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate. Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.   Other:  Intact Female, Vaccinations current, Microchip  Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption:  8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption. 12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery.  ** Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations. **Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice. Jelly Bean  loves people and other dogs. She sleeps with me during the night and sleeps all night. I kennel her when I am not home, she may whine a bit at first but then she calms down. Jelly Bean  is not housebroken but we are working on it. We are working on walking on a leash. She is very sweet and loves everyone she meets! She is a chewer but is easily redirected. She is not much of a barker. Jelly Bean  is tiny but has a big wonderful personality!
