Across America Boxer Rescue

Our Rescue is an all volunteer effort to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home unwanted and abandoned Boxer dogs. When Boxers are in need, Across America Boxer Rescue's dedicated volunteers respond. Our mission includes hands-on rescue, as well as education. Our rescue is dedicated in helping as many Boxers that have had a very "ruff" start for whatever reason. All Boxers that come into our rescue will be examined by our vet, brought up to date on vaccines, heart worm tested, (placed on heart worm preventive medication) and fecal tested, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We will evaluate each Boxer's personality and temperament, so they can be placed in the best home suited for them.

Meet Brutus

This beautiful senior was abandoned by his owner but he is one lucky boy in that he was taken to the right place at the right time where someone with rescue contacts met him, heard his story, and posted out for rescue help for him. One of our adopters saw the post and reached out to connect everyone and with HUGE thanks to foster and driving help offers, within about 24 hours, Brutus was in his foster home. Brutus needs all routine vetting and has a vet appointment scheduled for all of that and to get all checked over, including getting a full senior bloodpanel and whatever else he needs. We will update with more info after his vet appointment and after we get to know him!

Adoption Process
Adoption application, 3 personal reference checks, vet reference check, home visit, adoption contract, spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, medical care, hw preventive, hw treatment, and any other medical needs.
