Meet Madison Ray
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org.Hey there! I am Maddison Ray and I know you swiped on my profile because of how absolutely adorable you thought I was. Anyway, I’m looking for my forever person/people, so I’ll tell you about myself and what I’m looking for to see if we’re a good match!About me:I am about 4.5 months old and will likely be a medium/large dog when I am full grown. I love to play! Inside, outside, with toys, with other dogs, with you… it doesn’t matter! Then, after playing, I enjoy taking naps and cuddling when possible. I love long walks on the beach (well, anywhere really) and do great on a leash! I get along with everyone I meet and enjoy making friends whether they are human or other dogs. I’m always happy and ready to do pretty much whatever. You can listen to whatever music you want, too because I like everything! I also don’t have thumbs to be able to change it but that’s not important. I am working on potty training but I’m still young and that is completely normal when adjusting to a new place and schedule. I’m doing really good! What I’m looking for:The house I’m currently renting at (my foster parents) has a fenced in yard that I enjoy running around in but it’s not necessary. As mentioned above, I am great on a leash so as long as you play with me and give me exercise, I’ll be happy! I’m looking to settle down and need a forever commitment! My roommates (foster parents) say that I am the sweetest, most amazing girl that deserves the world and encouraged me to sign up for this app to find it! I want to put my single days behind me and drive off into the sunset! Ok, it doesn’t have to be at sunset but you get where I’m going here.Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.
Adoption Process
Adoption applications must be completed, which include information regarding references and vet clinic information, DL #, names, etc. Reference checks are conducted and when necessary vetting information verified. Discussion about the animal interested in to best assure appropriate and proper placement is made, and educational information regarding how to manage a multi-dog/animal household, slow and proper introductions and the importance of a shut-down period to help the animal acclimate to new surroundings. A "meet and greet" with the animal is required and whenever possible all residents of the household should be present. Home checks may, but not always, be necessary. After adoption applications is approved a contract is required, where we also stipulate that if for any reason the adopter determines they no longer want or can care for the animal we require it be returned to us, with the exception of documented bite history or potentially dangerous or dangerous dog designations. Adoption fees vary, but are comparable to or less than other local rescues and typically are $300 or less for a canine and $150 for a feline.
