Say hello to Buddy, a sweet and spirited 5-year-old pitbull mix who's ready to find his forever home! Buddy is a bundle of joy who absolutely loves spending time outdoors—whether it's chasing toys in the yard or joining you for a long walk around the neighborhood. He thrives on companionship and is happiest when he's with his humans, soaking up attention or curling up next to you for a cozy snuggle session after a day of play.Buddy gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine friend to romp around with. His interactions are friendly and playful, making him a great match for a home with another dog. However, we’re not sure how he feels about cats just yet, so any introductions to feline friends should be done slowly and carefully.This lovable guy is still polishing his manners and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training. Because of this, we recommend a home without small children, as he can be a bit too enthusiastic in his affection.Buddy is looking for a family that has the time and patience to help him grow into the well-mannered dog we know he can be. In return, you'll get a loyal companion full of love, laughter, and tail wags.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $50
