Charlie

Noah Project

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill animal shelter. We are dedicated to providing the compassionate well-being of abused, unwanted, and surrendered pets. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care, and are treated with love and respect as they await to be matched into loving forever homes! Our goal is to educate the community on animal welfare, collaborate with other shelters, and ultimately strive for a world where every companion animal has a loving home.

Meet Charlie

Charlie is a 9-month-old Bernese/Pyrenees mountain dog. He is already 66 pounds with no signs of slowing down. If you're looking for a small dog, he definitely won't be the right fit for you.He LOVES everyone, including kids and dogs. We are not sure how he is with cats but we think with a slow introduction he would have no problem accepting them as siblings. He loves all treats and toys. He likes to go on walks and is pretty good at them considering his age. He does like to pull when he gets excited and is strong. If you're not ready for it, he will be walking you. Charlie is both housebroken and kennel-trained. He will have the occasional accident if he is left alone for too long which is to be expected for a dog at his age. He knows how to sit and lie down but has selective hearing when it comes to both of these commands. If there is someone new he wants to greet, he decides those commands should be put on the back burner. He loves going to the beach and playing in the sand. Charlie is a huge lover and cuddler who likes to be where people are. Charlie's best fit would be a house that has a fenced-in yard or someone with lots of property for him to run around in.You may find me on our website under "ADOPT
