Meet Dixie

Meet Dixie! She has been staying with us as our foster guest since we rescued her the end of April.  She was living chained to her doghouse and needed a place to go when animal control arrived to move her from that very bad situation.  Dixie is a sweet girl who loves to give and receive affection, go for walks a couple times per day and run in the yard.  She’s a speedy girl who enjoys zipping around like a bullet train and watching her run puts a smile on my face.  A fenced yard is a must have for this high energy girl.    She likes to sleep in her crate at night, and patiently waits for me to wake up without being fussy.  She also prefers to be crated if you have to go out for a time. She eats about half her days food ration  mid day and the remainder a little before bed and potties when we’re out for our walks or during one of her evening sprints in the back yard.  She enjoys having her dependable routine. Dixie has been vaccinated and will have had her spay and microchip on June 4th.  Dixie would be best suited for someon who has a lot of love to give. She had gone without genuine affection for a long time and loves making up for that lost time! If you love snuggles on the couch and dog kisses, Miss Dixie is a delight!    

Adoption Process
We take applications, do vet checks and home visits to approve adopters. Fee are usually $265 for adult dog, $300 for puppy, $50 spay neuter deposit if applicable. Kittens $100, cats $75, $25 spay neuter deposit if applicable.
