Hi Future Family! My name is Lizzeth and I am a 6-month-old female German Shepard [mix?] weighing in at 20lbs. I came into the shelter as a lone stray at just a few months old and, boy, was I scared! But a kind rescuer saved me and now I’m up here in Coldwater, Michigan on the hunt for my furever home!?Typical of my breed, I am extremely smart and I’m great at taking cues from my person. When I first meet other dogs and people, I can be a little shy, so slow introductions would be best. I am very submissive with other canines and I like to follow them everywhere and learn new things. But once I get really comfortable, watch out, it’s time to PLAY. Then at some point, I’ll decide that all of my friends (stuffies) need to be piled up with me in my kennel. It’s so cute!I am crate-trained and working hard on my potty training - I’m a really smart girl, so I’m catching on pretty fast! I haven’t had any exposure to cats yet and I might meet them with curiosity, but my gentle nature suggests that we would get along just fine. As for kids, I still have those sharp little puppy nails and a penchant for grabbing your legs, so older, respectful children would be the best fit for me. I will require a PHYSICAL FULLY-FENCED YARD to ensure I have all the space I need to run and play.I'm all set to join my new family – fully-vetted, microchipped and ready to spread love wherever I go.
