Hi friends - I’m Messi, the beautiful 5-year-old, 70 pound yellow lab mix overflowing with love! My previous owners dumped me at an overcrowded kill shelter in Texas without even so much as a toy, and I was heartbroken - until I was rescued! Now I’m up here in Michigan (being fostered in Battle Creek) on a search for my furever family.I am a total princess with impeccable manners, my foster Mom says I’m a perfect 10! I’m very sweet and affectionate and I will look you right in the eyes and let you know how grateful I am for being saved. Right now I have the run of the house and I don’t get into trouble or chew anything. My ideal furever home would have a fully fenced yard so I can run and play until my heart’s content.I love going for walks and my leash manners are amazing, if I do say so myself. Every dog that I meet is a new friend and I couldn’t care less about cats, they’ll get no reaction from me. I really adore my toys and I’m more than happy to share with my furry friends.
