Meet BRODY

Brody is a five-month-old male cattle dog mix with a whole lot of energy and an even bigger personality. This spunky pup is always on the move and absolutely thrives in an active environment. His favorite thing in the world is playing fetch—just throw him a ball and watch him go! He’ll happily chase it for hours with a joyful spark in his eyes and a wagging tail that never quits.Brody is not just about play—he’s incredibly smart and eager to learn. He’s already mastered “sit” and, thanks to his strong food motivation, he picks up new commands quickly. He’s the kind of dog who will flourish with consistent training and mental stimulation, and he’s more than ready to show off just how clever he can be.Social and spirited, Brody gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves a good wrestling match with his four-legged friends. However, he does not do well with cats and must go to a feline-free home. Due to his breed and high energy level, it’s also recommended that Brody not be placed in a home with small children, as he can be a bit too exuberant in his play.Brody’s ideal home will have a large, securely fenced yard where he can run and play to his heart’s content. He needs a family who has the time, patience, and dedication to give him the love, attention, and exercise he needs to grow into the amazing dog he’s destined to be.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $250
