Noah Project

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill animal shelter. We are dedicated to providing the compassionate well-being of abused, unwanted, and surrendered pets. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care, and are treated with love and respect as they await to be matched into loving forever homes! Our goal is to educate the community on animal welfare, collaborate with other shelters, and ultimately strive for a world where every companion animal has a loving home.

Meet Axel

Axel came to us from Florida to seek shelter from the hurricane. We are unsure of his exact age since he was found as a stray. He has a lot of energy so it is possible that Axel is younger than we originally thought. He is both house and kennel trained. He still has a lot of PTSD from the hurricane and is terrified of wind and rain. Because of what he's been through, he has some separation anxiety. He is a super sweet boy that has a lot of love to give. He needs a strong handler and an active family. He would not do well with little kids since he doesn't know his own strength. We think he would do best in a house with another dog so he never has to feel alone. All of our animals come neutered/spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all their shots/vaccinesIf you are interested in adopting, please head over to noahprojectmuskegon.org and fill out an application under the “adopt” section. Once you’ve completed the application, email it to us!You may find me on our website under "ADOPT
