Meet Beau

About Beau ** BEAU IS NOT AT UPAWS ** Beau is an amazing puppy who loves being outside, going to the dog park and for hikes. He does amazing off leash, and knows basic commands - come, sit, stay, down, lazy and we're working on swirl and twirl. He is very food motivated. He is very intelligent and full of potential. I deeply love and care for Beau but unfortunately we are not the right fit for him. He chases our cats and has snapped at our small children. He would do best in a home with no cats and no small children. Older, respectful children he is good with and he absolutely loves any and all other dogs - Beau has yet to meet a dog that he doesn't like. He is crate trained. He sleeps in our room either on our bed or on his own bed. He loves any toys, balls or ropes and is a very heavy chewer. Beau needs to work on jumping when excited and also staying off counters. Beau does have some separation anxiety in that he will chew any items left out. Beau does much better if he gets a walk or run in before being left for work. Beau would do best with someone who has the time to exercise him, who enjoys being outside and enjoys a big, happy, intelligent companion.
