Noah Project

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill animal shelter. We are dedicated to providing the compassionate well-being of abused, unwanted, and surrendered pets. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care, and are treated with love and respect as they await to be matched into loving forever homes! Our goal is to educate the community on animal welfare, collaborate with other shelters, and ultimately strive for a world where every companion animal has a loving home.

Meet Hakoda

Hakoda is a high-energy, fun-loving Aussie who thrives in an active environment and needs a fenced yard to burn off all that zest for life. He’s a bit of a goofball who loves bones and hard chew toys. Treats are always a win with him, too. He is a super sweet boy and a lover. He knows commands like sit, shake, and recall (sometimes), and he’ll gladly sleep on the bed with you after a long day of activity. He likes going on walks but he can pull a little, he’s done well with it overall. Car rides can make him a bit nervous at first, but he calms down quickly. He’s crate-trained and will go in his crate when asked.Hakoda loves kids, but due to his herding instincts and high energy, he does best with older children (10+). He also tends to chase cats and is dog-selective, so he would need a slow introduction to any new canine siblings. He’s got a playful streak that makes him so much fun to be around. He’s ready to be someone’s adventure buddy and cuddle companion all in one.Hakoda would thrive in a home with: • A fenced yard • Older kids • An active lifestyle • Someone who understands the Aussie drive and energyYou may find me on our website under "ADOPT
