Picture this: I’m a young , female, black Lab mix, about 40lb with a quirky twist—I'm missing an ear! But let me assure you, it's no biggie. In fact, it's my favorite spot for scratches! My foster fam nicknamed me after George Weasley from Harry Potter, tho lost an ear too. Pretty cool, huh? I defied the odds by surviving a southern kill shelter as a black dog, and now I’m here in Battle Creek, Michigan looking for my furever family!Life in my foster home is pawsome! I've got two fur-siblings to romp around with outside, and when we come indoors, it's chill time. You'll find me snuggled up in my cozy crate with my plushies—I'm a sucker for a good cuddle sesh. And guess what? I'm a social butterfly! I love hanging out with my 9-year-old foster sis, and I'm super gentle with kiddos of all ages. And I don’t even mind cats!Exploring the great outdoors is my jam! I'm always up for a walk, sniffing out every little thing along the way. Leash skills? Working on it, but I'm eager to learn and strut my stuff alongside my forever fam.Oh, and did I mention I'm a pro at potty training and crate chilling? Yep, all set in that department!
