Meet Boba

Meet Boba! A sensitive and sweet almost six-year-old Terrier mix currently living in Chula Vista, CA, whose tan wire coat and soulful eyes hint at the big heart and boundless energy tucked inside her medium-sized frame. Boba is the kind of pup who will follow you from room to room, not out of anxiety, but out of pure curiosity, she just has to know what’s going on! Whether you’re grabbing a snack or heading to the couch, she’ll be right by your side, ready for snuggles, companionship, and maybe a little ball-chasing if the moment strikes. Playful and people-loving, Boba thrives on adult attention, belly rubs, and squeaky toys. Her favorite pastime? A spirited game of fetch followed by a cozy nap in her crate, where she feels safe and content. She's incredibly smart and already knows a bunch of fun commands like sit, lay down, roll over, spin, paw, bed, and kennel, making training sessions both impressive and entertaining. Boba is crate-trained, house-trained, and microchipped, with all her vaccinations up to date. She has a strong need for daily exercise and mental stimulation, so an active caregiver who appreciates the energetic brilliance of terrier breeds would be a great match. Though she's incredibly loving with adults and eager to make new friends, Boba feels anxious around children and would thrive in a kid-free home. She also prefers to be the only pet, especially after a past incident left her cautious around other dogs. She’s selective with dogs and not compatible with cats, but when it comes to her human companions, she’s all heart and devotion. Loud noises like fireworks and thunder can rattle her, but in a calm, structured environment filled with love and patience, Boba truly blossoms! A yard to explore would be a bonus, though she’s been doing wonderfully with daily walks and lots of playtime. Boba is ready to bring laughter, loyalty, and love into a new chapter.
