He has a gentle, cuddly nature and a playful streak that makes him a great fit for many homes. With a medium activity level, Hugo enjoys bursts of play throughout the day and settles easily when it’s time to relax. He would thrive in a home that wants a friendly, loyal dog who loves snuggles just as much as playtime.Hugo gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is currently fostered with dogs of all ages and sizes, including a tiny puppy he wrestles with gently. He is respectful and kind with all his dog friends. While he has had exposure to cats, he typically ignores them. Hugo is also amazing with children and has lived with kids from five to thirteen years old, always being gentle and affectionate with them. His favorite activities include playing with his doggy friends and cuddling up with his humans.This smart and sweet boy is fully house trained and crate trained. He goes into his crate without issue at night and settles quickly. During the day, he may bark when first crated but soon naps quietly. Hugo is calm on leash and walks well without pulling. He would benefit from continued structure and routine as he adjusts to his forever home, but he has proven himself to be a quick learner with a loving temperament.Hugo is a sweet and resilient pup who is ready to leave his past behind and soak up the love of a forever family. With his loving personality and good manners, he is sure to be an incredible companion. Adoption Process
Adoption process includes an application with 2 references required plus vet check, landlord permission if renting and home visit. Must sign an adoption contract. Fees are $450 for dogs under 4 and $400 for dogs 4 and older.
