Meet Stryker

Meet Stryker! A tender-hearted four-month-old Great Dane/Labrador Retriever mix currently living in Lonoke, AR, whose gentle soul shines through his unique tan brindle coat and soft, curious eyes. Stryker may be small for now—he was the tiniest of his litter—but don’t let that fool you. This pup has a heart as big as his future paws, and he's already proven he's a smart cookie! The very first of his siblings to master the “sit” command, Stryker thrives on praise and absolutely adores being held. His favorite part of the day? Any moment where he gets to snuggle up with someone who makes him feel safe and seen. This sweet boy is still discovering the world. Since he’s been living in an outdoor kennel due to a full house of fellow rescues, Stryker hasn’t had indoor experience yet—but he’s eager to learn and ready for someone to help guide him with kindness, patience, and plenty of chew toys. He's got a gentle, slightly timid nature that makes him easy to love and even easier to bond with. While he might whine a little when left alone, he’s quickly learning that consistency and reassurance go a long way. Stryker gets along well with other dogs and would do well in a home with a secure fenced yard and a routine that includes morning and evening meals, plus his beloved dental bone before bedtime. He’s playful but not hyper, affectionate without being demanding, and responds well to calm energy and positive reinforcement. At around 60 pounds when fully grown, Stryker will likely be a medium-sized companion with a big presence in your life. He would thrive in a loving environment with a pet parent who has experience with puppies and the patience to help him blossom—perhaps even enrolling him in training classes to keep that bright brain busy! And here’s a bonus—Stryker isn’t the only gem in his litter looking for a family! His equally sweet siblings Snape, Smokey, and Fuzzy Mack are also available for adoption. Each one brings their own personality and charm, ready to fill a home with joy! Could Stryker—or maybe one of his adorable siblings—be your new best friend?
