Introducing Polly. This adorable low-rider came to us from our friends at Boston Animal Care and Control after being picked up by animal control in horrible condition. Polly earned her name because with her terribly (read adorably) wonky legs, she looks more like a pollywog than a pittie . Those legs are likely misshapen because of genetic deformities from poor breeding practices. Amazing longtime PLR supporter and foster Blair zoomed right into Boston to give this sweet girl a loving and safe space to land while she awaits her forever family. Polly is an absolute sweetheart of a dog- she only wants to be near you. Whether that’s beside you for long, leisurely car rides or hanging out at home with her people and four resident pups, she’s happiest when she’s with her family. Because of her special legs, Polly’s walking is limited to soft, grassy spaces to minimize pain and damage to her paws. Her little legs don’t slow Polly down at all- she doesn’t even seem to notice them! She has absolutely no trouble keeping up with her foster siblings and is just about the happiest dog we’ve ever met. She will go crazy for just about any toy that squeaks and loves nothing more than chomping on a stick in the backyard. If you and your family are looking for the most adorable, short, squat, sweet little pittie- Polly’s your girl!

Adoption Process
Our Adoption Donation includes spay/neuter, microchip and all vaccinations. All of our pit bulls will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention prior to adoption. All of our pit bulls will be placed as only dogs or with a compatible dog of the opposite sex. All adopters must be at least 21 years of age. All adopters must own their home. A home visit is required. Personal and veterinary references are required. Proof of training will be required for all puppies adopted under the age of 6 months. **Please note that exceptions to some adoption policies may be made on a case-by-case basis.
