Meet Ty

Meet Ty! Ty's journey began as a stray in Mississippi, but his story took a heartwarming turn when he was brought into the shelter with heartworm. It didn't take long for Ty to become a favorite among the staff and volunteers. He was treated for his heartworm and now ready to move on!!! His jovial, happy-go-lucky nature makes him a joy to be around, and he never meets a stranger. Ty is a confident, outgoing, and curious boy who adapts easily to change. His intelligence and eagerness to please make him a quick learner, and his affectionate personality ensures he forms strong bonds with those around him. Despite his size, Ty walks well on a leash and would love to join you on adventures, whether it's exploring new trails or hiking through the woods. Ty would thrive in a home with another furry friend to play with in a fenced backyard. He's versatile in his play style, matching the energy of his playmates—whether they want to play hard or just chill and explore. Indoors, Ty loves to be with his people, cuddling or napping on the couch, which he absolutely adores. At night, he sleeps soundly in bed with his humans, and when his foster family goes out, he does well in his crate. Ty is treat-motivated and has a huge heart, making him an ideal family member or a best friend to a single active person or couple. He's curious about cats but won't harm them, so a dog-savvy kitty would be a great companion for him. Let's help Ty find the forever home and family he's been waiting for. He can't wait to start his new journey and bring joy to his new family! If interested in Ty, please apply online: ADOPTION APPLICATION or email us at [email protected].
