Meet Chance Schnauz *LOCAL*

To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application        HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see        HERE Age:  9 years (as of 12/29/23) Weight: 9 lbs (as of 12/13/23) Location: RI    This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Chance Schnauz is an outgoing and happy purebred Miniature Schnauzer who deserves to be cherished forever. He is nine years old, and was recently surrendered by a breeder, along with many other small dogs who all have papers and are currently available for adoption. His coloring is liver pepper. Chance is the sort of dog who will bring joy and laughter to your home.  Life started out not so great for Chance, but you wouldn't know it when meeting him.  He is full of life, friendly, confident and outgoing with all humans and dogs, and just an easy going, alert older gentleman.  He is comfortable being left alone, and happy to be free roaming with other easy going large and small dogs alike.  He is a gem! Chance is housetrained; he will use potty pads or go outside.  He is also crate trained and walks well on the leash. He is mild-mannered and eager to please, and we believe that he will easily integrate into many different types of adoptive homes.  As a previously kenneled dog, he has not had many experiences outside the home, but so far, he has been interested in and comfortable on short adventures and outgoing towards everyone he has met. Chance would love to cuddle for hours on someone's lap, and he is going to be a delightful and kind companion to anyone who is lucky enough to bring him home! An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see      HERE      for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:    www.sosarl.org/aa/ *  *Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
