PittieLove Rescue Inc. is a 501(c) (3) non profit organization based in MA. We are an all-volunteer, foster-home-based rescue dedicated to the care, understanding, and adoption of the American Pit Bull Terrier. PittieLove’s primary goal is to ensure that our rescued dogs will never again suffer from abuse or neglect. We work diligently to carefully place them into loving homes where, for all of their remaining years, they will experience the affection and kindness that has been so sorely absent from their lives.

Meet Truffles

Adoption Fee: $500 Our information is current if you are interested in adopting please read our  Adoption Policies before filling out an Adoption Application. https://www.pittieloverescue.org It is the easiest way to start the communication and adoption process. Miss Truffles is a 2-year-old low-rider sweetheart with a big heart and an even bigger personality. A classic “velcro dog,” she’s happiest when she’s snuggled up next to her humans—on the couch, in bed, or wherever the love is. She’s incredibly affectionate and will shower her family with snuggles, smiles, and the cutest side-saddle sits and piggy snorts (hence the name, Miss Truffles!). She strikes a great balance between playful energy and total couch potato vibes. A couple of solid walks (30+ minutes each) and a good toy session—especially tug or chew time—keep her content and ready for nap mode. She’s a super chewer (toys beware!) and loves to play rough-and-tumble with doggy friends, though she’s respectful. Truffles is a champ on leash, excited to greet dogs and people alike, including young kids. Her social, goofy demeanor wins hearts wherever she goes. While she’s still working on polite greetings (she may jump from excitement), she listens well and is eager to please—especially if treats are involved (hide your snacks!). Housebroken and crate-averse (she prefers to sleep close to her humans with her crate door open), Miss Truffles does best with someone home most of the time. She’s not a fan of being left alone and will whine or bark when confined, though she’s learning that being alone isn’t forever. Whether she’s doing her signature sploot, sniffing around with little truffle snorts, or curling up beside you for a cozy nap, Truffles is an irresistible, affectionate bundle of joy. She’d thrive in a home with a human (or a few!) around most of the day, and with a doggy sibling who loves to play, and a family that welcomes her into the heart of their home—preferably right into the bed.
