She loves to run with a ball or stick in her mouth. She has lots of energy, so would do best with an active family. She likes other dogs, but can be overwhelming for them because she is a little over-enthusiastic when she meets them. She loves to chase chickens, squirrels and birds, so would probably not do well with a cat in the house.Although very friendly, Sunni is unaware of her size and likes to give hugs, so might knock small children over. She would do best with older, dog savvy kids. She is mostly crate trained, but does protest at first before settling down. Sunni is house trained and will go to the door or paw at her person when she needs to go out. She walks very well on leash.Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. Adoption Process
Adoption process includes an application with 2 references required plus vet check, landlord permission if renting and home visit. Must sign an adoption contract. Fees are $450 for dogs under 4 and $400 for dogs 4 and older.
