Meet Mia

Introducing Mia! Currently nestled in Greenfield, MA, Mia is ready to embark on her next adventure with a loving family anywhere in the Western MA/Southern VT area! An almost 11-year-old Brittany mix, weighing around 50 pounds, Mia's story is one of resilience, loyalty, and the undying love she has for those she considers family! Despite her age, Mia radiates the joy and curiosity of a much younger pup, especially when it comes to her adventures outdoors. She's an explorer at heart, whether chasing squirrels in the woods or embarking on exhilarating car rides. Her love for play is matched only by her love for a good nap, where she's happiest snuggled up, dreaming of her next adventure! However, Mia has faced her share of challenges along the way. Mia experiences some separation anxiety, but she is crate trained and can generally manage alone for 5-6 hours at a time, though she wouldn't prefer it every day. Her anxiety is best managed through a consistent routine. Additionally, her need for attention and her reactions to other dogs require careful handling. Despite these hurdles, Mia's affection for people shines brightly! She's particularly wonderful with older children, displaying obedience and loyalty that make her an exceptional companion. Mia's tale is one of a dog in need of a special home - a family that can offer her the undivided attention and care she thrives on. Her perfect match would be with those who understand her unique needs; a calm, structured environment where she can be the sole recipient of her family's love and where her daily adventures can continue in safety and happiness. For those in the Greenfield area and beyond looking for a loyal friend with an unbreakable spirit, Mia awaits! Her story is one of hope, a testament to the enduring bond between humans and their furry companions. Ready to be Mia's forever adventure partner? If you're interested in providing Mia with a loving home, please email [email protected] for more information on adopting her!
