This big, handsome, fluffy fella is sure to turn heads! Sammie is a 6-year-old Husky/Retriever mix with the fluffiest coat ever! At 82 lbs., he is definitely a large pup!Sammie arrived at our partner rescue in Mississippi as an owner surrender after his owner passed away and their family members could not take care of him. Sammie cannot wait to find a new family who will love and care for him! He loves everyone he meets, including kids, and enjoys giving hugs and leaning against your legs. Sammie also does great with other dogs and enjoys having friends. He has not yet met a cat, so we are not sure how he feels about them. With medium energy, he would love both playtime and quality cuddle time.Sammie walks wonderfully on a leash and knows how to sit. He is working hard on his house and crate training. Even though Sammie has previously had an owner, it is important to remember that accidents can happen in new environments. Adoption Process
Potential adopters must complete a comprehensive application, interview and home inspection. The final step in the process is explaination and completion of adoption contract. The adoption fee is $450 inclusive of all vetting and transportation charges.
