Meet Uriel

Ready, set, go and we are off to the races. Although there is no competition here because all the competitors will be winners, no checkered flag needed, when this group of four-month-old black mouth cur mixes find their individual forever homes. Each will get the winning prize of a lifetime of love. Uriel is ready to step into the winner circle and make his mark on the world. He weighs around 22 pounds and what we do know is that he will grow in the coming days, weeks and months. It is estimated that he will be a large size boy over 60 pounds when he is full grown. His love is endless, and his enthusiasm of exploration will fill his days.He believes that friends are important so he will look for friends just about anywhere. Uriel does well with other dogs and children but has not had the opportunity to be introduced to a cat since coming into rescue. His acceptance of cats is unknown at this time. He has a medium energy level that will mesh well with most fairly active families. Uriel will be a joy to watch him tackle the everyday life of puppyhood. Then he will grow into a wonderful canine companion to be cherished for years. Uriel is currently working on his house, crate and leash training. Each day is another step closer to achieving his goals and he knows his family will not let him down in helping him learn all that he needs to know.As with all puppies, Uriel is full of curiosity and wonderment, and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. He will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize him so that he can become the perfect lifelong companion. Uriel knows that life is what you make of it so he is setting his sights on living his best life possible and bringing lots of love, affection and companionship to the family that will be his for a lifetime. It is not a small feat, but Uriel knows that it will be worth it for him and his family. Take Uriel home so he can be a winner each and every day of his life. The adoption fee for Uriel is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours.
