If you adopted April based solely on how cute she is, we wouldn't blame you. Luckily, you won't have to! This sweet girl is not only adorable - she has the perfect personality as well! April loves to snuggle up to her people, go on little walks, and give lots of kisses! Basically, if she's with you, she's happy. April is pretty much the Official Cheerfulness Officer™️ of the Derry Humane Society since she brings sparkle and sunshine wherever she goes! She is just one of those dogs that everyone loves - all of our volunteers that have met her have all said they would adopt her if they could! So, what is she looking for in a new family? Miss April May would love a quiet, laid-back home, as she can be timid around lots of activity and noise (everything seems scarier when you're only 15 pounds!) . She is great with smaller dogs and would probably be fine with a big dog, as long as they aren't rambunctious. She does fine being left alone free in the house or in a crate. Adoption Process
Fees are:
Puppies 0 - 6 months $495
Puppies 6 - 12 months $450
Adult dogs $395
Senior dogs 8 years and over $195
Adult cats $150
Kittens $195 or $250 for a pair
Senior cats 8 years and over $95
Our adoption application is found and submitted through our website derryhumanesociety.com
Once an application is submitted, it will be sent to an adoption counselor who will reach out to you if you may be a good match.
