Meet Sweetie
Meet Sweetie! This 20 lb little cutie started to come out of her shell after quietly decompressing for a few days following her voyage from Puerto Rico ! Sweetie’s zoomies, Dorito shaped airplane ears, and wagging white tipped tail are guaranteed to make you smile. Content in her crate and seeks it out as safe space and loves to cuddle up with her stuffed dog Dog and cat friendly! She let out a few tiny barks at the resident cat, otherwise not interested Knows how to walk on leash, learning not to pull Potty trained Has not met any kids yet Unsure on car rides, she got sick on the 1.5 ride home from foster pick up, but could have been nerves. More to come as she settles in! Loves meal time and does a happy dance is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (puppies under the age of 6 months may not be sterilized prior to adoption, if this is the case your adoption coordinator will discuss the process with you).To adopt or learn more about: , you must fill out an adoption application. All breeds listed are educated best estimates by transferring shelter staff, our volunteers or our vets. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT. Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort.If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA. A majority of our dogs are adopted/spoken for prior to transport and release from state mandated isolation. To learn more about our rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of FAQ’s on our website at WWW.SANDYPAWSRESCUE.COM**The FIRST step in adopting an animal from our rescue is to submit a completed adoption application.MA License #0272
