He is doing great being fostered with several kids in the home, his current foster shares, “Sam is such a sweet and adorable guy to foster. He gets along great with my kids and just an all-around great dog. He will make a great addition to a family who’s ready to show him the ropes of puppyhood.”Sam is a medium energy pup who loves to play in the yard and is also content napping on the couch nearby. He gets along well with dogs and takes cues well from other dogs, so he’d likely be fine with or without a doggy sibling in the home. He met a few cats when fostered down south and didn’t seem to have any issues with them, so he’d likely be fine with a cat in the home. Sam has a friendly, gentle disposition and gets along great with kids and would be just fine with one in the home.As a typical young pup, he is working on getting used to his crate and potty training. He is crated occasionally throughout the day. Sam would make a great doggy daycare candidate or work from home buddy. He is working hard on mastering potty outside, with a few accidents in the last couple of weeks. Sam will continue to improve when taken out on a regular schedule and routine. He is working on his leash manners and will need extra guidance as he navigates his new environment. Adoption Process
Adoption process includes an application with 2 references required plus vet check, landlord permission if renting and home visit. Must sign an adoption contract. Fees are $450 for dogs under 4 and $400 for dogs 4 and older.
