Meet CHANTILLY
Name: Chantilly Sex: Female Estimated Age: About 2 years old Best Guess for Breed: Schnauzer Mix Weight: About 10 lbs Lives With: Dogs, cats and people! Housebroken? Yes - she’s housebroken. Story: Chantilly was rescued from a shelter in Puerto Rico with her sister. We are so happy to have them safe and sound in a foster home in the DC area now. Chantilly is a happy sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. She knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with her humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Chantilly is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. Like all dogs, Chantilly will need an adopter who is committed to setting her up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising her both mentally and physically. She will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive! What my foster says: Chantilly, or "Tilly" as I've been calling her, is a sweet, low-medium energy gal who is happy to be by your side. Her wiggly little body will bring a smile to your face! She is still coming out of her shell and hasn't engaged with toys yet (except for those that involve treats), but she’s still settling in. She is house trained, crate trained, and does well on the leash and in the car. She has even learned to go into her crate on command (as long as you have a treat ready for her)! The fee to adopt Chantilly is $475. That covers the cost of all her vaccines, her spay, the collar she’s wearing, her transport to DC and her care in her foster home. She’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines. Chantilly has been seen by a shelter vet and was given a clean bill of health. If you think that Chantilly might be your perfect match, apply today!
