Meet Violet
VIOLET NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Come meet Violet and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (April 28th) from 12-3 pm at the Petsmart in Silver Spring (12020 Cherry Hill Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904)! Name: Violet Best Guess for Breed: Beagle and shepherd mix Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of March 2024 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 21.6 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested Currently Living at: Shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get her freedom ride here! Violet is Looking For: You gotta know, Violet is not a Shrinking Violet. This sweetie is a pint-size dynamo has all that awesome young-dog energy and is looking for humans to take on the world with her! Shelter staff report that she loves to run around to burn off her energy. She does well with other dogs but might make them dizzy while she runs circles around them! But she will stick close to shelter staff and come back to check that they're still there. And she loves it when staff simply sit and rub and pet her. She hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet and is oh so eager to have her own humans for exploration. Romps in parks and trips to the beach and the mountain sound good to her - she might also make a great jogging buddy. What she wants most of all, though, is to know she's safe and loved and under her own roof for all her days. In exchange, she promises to always make you smile - and always be by your side. What do you say? Is Violet the active companion for your active home?
