Meet Duncan

Duncan found his forever family in Reston, VA.  Congratulations, big guy! Hi!  I'm Duncan!  I'm just a nice collie pup, looking for a home.  I'm about a year to two years old and still have quite a bit of puppy in me.  Before coming into rescue, I spent a LOT of time (all of it really) outside, so I am feeling pretty sun-bleached.  Not that I'm biased, but I think I'm pretty handsome for a collie.  I love to run around in my foster family's yard and burn off my puppy zoomies and play with my foster siblings.  Speaking of which, I meet other dogs and get along with them very quickly.  I'm also pretty smart and know basic commands and learn what you expect of me quickly.  I'm also a foodie - I love to eat!  Being food motivated also helps reinforce what you're trying to tell me when I'm learning new things.  Another thing I love to do is to go for car rides.  I'm really good about getting in the car and love to go wherever you are!  Overall, I think I'm a pretty great catch for the right home!  I am still enjoying chewing, so my new home needs to watch me carefully.  My perfect home would be a home with another dog for me to run around and chase in a fenced in backyard.  I am a little mouthy (as most collie boys are when they are pups), so probably best if kids under 7 are not in my new home.
