Meet Sammie

This cutie is 3-4yr old, (on-a-diet) 60lb, Sammie! Who can resist those grinch feet!! Sammie is pure perfection!! She is housebroken and crate trained. Sammie loves other dogs and was said to do well with cats in her previous home before being surrendered to a local shelter. Sammie has yet to meet a stranger and while we don’t think she’d would intentionally hurt anyone she does sometimes gentally jump up with excitement. Sammie knows some basic obedience and is working on polite leash walking (not pulling).  She enjoys playing fetch and has just started coming out of her shell and getting more playful. Once she has lost her excess weight she should weigh around 50lbs. Sammie is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines and preventatives either an adoption fee of $375. Adoption Process
Potential adopters start by filling out our adoption application. The completed application is read over and if we have any questions we will contact them accordingly. Next at least two personal and if applicable a vet reference is contacted. Assuming that goes well it is followed by a physical home check. Once that is all completed we setup a meet to adopt where the entire family (including canine members if adopting a dog) come to meet the potential new family member. If the meeting goes well they are fully approved to take their pet home at that time.
