KANDEE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Kandee       Best Guess for Breed:   Border collie and lab mix Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of March 2024        SEX:    Female Approximate Weight:  35 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested   Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get her freedom ride up here   Kandee is Looking For:   Her forever home! Kandee is eager to have her own humans to burn off all that awesome young-dog energy with - romps in the park, hikes and beach trips and all those adventures! Long walks and yard time alone won't cut it. She's also looking for a family because she's got quite a stockpile of adoring gazes and tail wags and snuggles to give in exchange for knowing she's safe and loved and under her own roof.    If you're seeking a loyal companion who will be right there by your side as you explore the world, meet Kandee and see if she's the one you want there! Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
