GREER NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Greer Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix Best Guess for Age: 6 weeks as of 2/16 SEX: Male Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!): 8 lbs as of 2/16 Gets Along With: Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training. Currently Living at: DC area foster home Check out this video including Greer: https://youtu.be/eBDPkJYGVFg. Special Adoption Considerations: Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy. Additionally, this puppy will not be available for adoption until he/she reaches 7 weeks of age on February 23. Greer is Looking For: Hiya! I'm Greer! I've loved being in this puppy pile with my mama Gaia and my siblings (Gin, Gus, Gwen, Greta, Ginny, Grover, Gunner, Gracie and Gladys) but I'd really like to find my very own forever home. Right now I just need someone to keep me safe, warm, and loved. Once I get older, I'm definitely going to want plenty of walks around the neighborhood so I can show off how cute I am and lots of opportunities to meet other pups and people so I can have lots of friends. I'd also like to take a training class or two so I can show you the brains behind all this cuteness. What do you say? Am I the pup for you? What My Foster Says About Me: My foster mom is smitten with me and my siblings. There are 10 of us! Yes 10 bundles of joy and we love to jump, play and climb all over each other as well on all our visitors. Because I am still too little to go to the adoption events, people have been coming to play with me at my fosters home. I especially love it when children come over and play, they are much closer to my size and I love their snuggles. My personality is starting to emerge and I am told that I will grow up to be a fun loving, playful and gentle furever pal. Puppy Vetting Requirements: Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be “fully” vaccinated. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog. Due to this puppy’s young age, she/he has not yet been spayed or neutered. As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than July 5, 2023. There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this date. A non-refundable spay/neuter deposit will be collected if you would like Lucky Dog to pay for this animal to be spayed/neutered at one of our low cost partner vets. Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog! TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $425, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter.
