BRODY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Brody        Best Guess for Breed: Yorkie and dachshund mix Best Guess for Age:  5 years as of April 2024       SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight: 23 lbs   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home.  Brody is Looking For:   His forever home! This small sweetie was surrendered to a groomer in South Carolina - the groomer had to shave him down to remove mats. He's forgotten all that already and is looking ahead to when he once again has his own home. He's eager to trot alongside his humans, exploring the world on all their adventures together. Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed are on his wish list as well. And definitely daily brushing and regular grooming - mats hurt!   But you know what he wants most of all? To love and be loved, to know who his family is. He's stockpiling all those adoring gazes and tail wags and has his "loyal companion" dial turned to max, all waiting for his lucky human. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
