Meet Poppy
POPPY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Come meet Poppy and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (April 14th) from 12-3 pm at the Petsmart in Kensington (5154 Nicholson Ln, Kensington, MD 20895)! Name: Poppy Best Guess for Breed: Labradoodle Best Guess for Age: 4 years as of April 2025 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 65 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs and children! We haven't seen her with cats yet, but she can be tested. Currently Living at: DC area foster home. Special adoption considerations: When Poppy arrived in the shelter, she was pretty nervous and scared. However, she has been making great strides. We think Poppy would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to continue to build confidence. About Poppy: Ready for Adventure Poppy is a spirited Labradoodle with a zest for life and a love for adventure! Whether it's hiking through scenic trails, frolicking on sandy beaches, or simply exploring new places, Poppy is always eager to embark on exciting adventures with her favorite humans. Cuddle Connoisseur After a day filled with adventures, Poppy's favorite way to unwind is by snuggling up on the couch with her loved ones. She's a true cuddle connoisseur, cherishing warm moments with her family. Great with Dogs and Children Poppy's friendly and sociable nature extends to both dogs and children. She enjoys the company of her furry friends and delights in playful interactions. Additionally, her gentle demeanor makes her an ideal companion for children, bringing joy and warmth wherever she goes.
