Meet Honey! Honey was found running as a stray in Rock Hill, SC, but luckily, she had an advocate in the community looking out for her who reached out to rescue. We take in many wonderful strays from this area, where shelters are overwhelmed and dogs are too often left to fend for themselves. Honey is now thriving in her foster home with two large dogs, including our handsome bully boy, Teddy. They quickly became best friends, and Honey has had such a positive impact on the whole pack. Her foster mom, Ruthann, shared: “Honey has brought new life into this house. Even my senior, Solo, is acting like a puppy again. They both adore her, and she loves to play.” Honey would do best in a home with another playful pup. She’s a sweetheart who loves to give kisses, romp in the backyard, and soak up the sun. Inside, she enjoys her toys, chew bones, and belly rubs, flopping right onto her back on the bed to ask for them! She has great house manners and is fully potty-trained. On leash, she does well and seems to have some practice. At mealtimes, she even sits politely for her food or a treat. Honey is young with a medium energy level; she’ll have playful bursts but then happily settles down with a toy. Honey has also met the neighbor kids and did wonderfully. With her social, affectionate nature, we think she’d make a fantastic family dog, especially in a fun, active home with a canine playmate. Apply today!
