Meet Corolla
COROLLA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Come meet Corolla and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (June 23rd) from 12-3 pm at 12020 Cherry Hill Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904! Name: Corolla Best Guess for Breed: Lab and shepherd mix Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of December 2023 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 46 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested Currently Living at: DC area boarding partner See this happy girl here!https://www.youtube.com/shorts/8q0ljRn4qw8https://www.youtube.com/shorts/swULrWnrxVg Corolla is Looking For: Her forever family! This sweetie is just about a year old and she hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet. She's eager to experience new places, people, and pups! Long sniffy walks, romps in the park, all the adventures her new humans can dream up - yes, please! And definitely play time and lots of snuggles too! She has also added "variety of toys, quality kibble, and cushy dog bed" to her wish list. Dog school would be great, too, so she can show how super smart she is.But what she wants most of all is to know she's safe and loved and under her own roof. In exchange, she promises loyal companionship, adoring gazes, and tail wags for all her days. What do you say? Can you see Corolla trotting by your side? What My Foster Says About Me: Corolla is such a happy dog! She is also very smart and knows wait, sit, lie down, spin, crate, and almost has roll over. She does well in the apartment, but it would definitely be good for her to run and get some of her energy out on a daily basis. I take her for three 30 minute walks a day, but she definitely would benefit from time and space to run. Training and running back and forth in the apartment do help burn some mental and physical energy. She loves toys she can chew on like the kong tire. Potty training in an apartment is a challenge for any dog, and she's doing well! She has been great at waiting for the elevator and only had a few accidents waiting for it in the beginning. She now will sit patiently to wait for the elevator and sit in the elevator and wait to pee outside. She does great with the crate. She goes to her crate without complaint when I leave and would be laying down in the crate when I came back, she did not whine to be let out. She’s still getting used to city noises when out on leash, and getting better every day! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
