Homeward Bound Animal Rescue

We are an organization who rescues pregnant dogs or mommy dogs who have just delivered in kill shelters or are found as strays. We raise the puppies and take care of the mommies in our volunteers homes. We take care of these puppies from the time they are born until they are placed. The mothers are fully vetted prior to their adoption. All of the adoption fees from the puppies often times go into the mother to get her healthy and ready for a new family.

Meet Kaylee

Introducing the K litter of Lab/Pit mixes! 8 GIRLS in this litter, no boys! Momma (she is pending adoption!!) is a gorgeous grey pit but daddy must have been a lab given the looks of the puppies! The pups are expected to be 50-60lbs or so full grown. Super sweet, super cuddly and love to give and receive affection. They are a great group of puppies that would do good in almost any home.  If you are not already pre-approved to adopt please fill our an application on our website https://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org/ Located in Mechanicsburg PA. Available for adoption starting December 18th! Email their foster mom at [email protected] with the following info: 1. Name/email your application is under 2. Tell me alittle bit about your family and home life 3. Which pups are you interested in? 4. When are you available for adoption? 18th is first night for adoptions.

Adoption Process
Our fees vary based on breed, age, and if there are health issues. We also waive the fee for any dogs going into training to be a service/therapy dog for our country's Veterans. We require you to have an approved adoption application prior to meeting any of our fosters.
