Name: Goldie Best Guess for Breed: Papillon mix Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of August 2023 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 5 lbs Gets Along With: Goldie gets along with other dogs and loves cats. She has lived in a home with a toddler and did great with the child. Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter foster; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area! Goldie is Looking For: Her forever home! This tiny girl has a giant heart and loves everyone and everything. She's oh so eager to have her own humans for sniffy walks - she may be small but she has dignity - she'd like to walk on her own four legs, please, and not be stuffed into a purse. And for cuddles and for all the adventures life has to offer! The love she has to offer is warmer than anything in Fort Knox. What do you say? Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application
2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit.
3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
