Meet Cosmo
COSMO NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Come meet Cosmo and other great adoptable dogs this Saturday (Feb. 24th) from 12-2 pm at Petco in Fairfax (10708 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22030)! Name: Cosmo Best Guess for Breed: Catahoula leopard dog mix Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of December 2023 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 48 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested Currently Living at: DC area foster home See this happy boy here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRzCPBDQN14https://www.youtube.com/shorts/xytoBlL1WC4 Cosmo is Looking For: His forever family! This handsome speckled boy says he hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet. He's eager to experience new places, people, and pups! Long sniffy walks, romps in the park, all the adventures his new humans can dream up - yes, please! He has also added "variety of toys, quality kibble, and cushy dog bed" to his wish list. (No cranberry juice and vodka though, please.) Going to dog school would be great too, so he can show off his smarts. But what he wants most of all is to know he's safe and loved and under his own roof. In exchange, he promises loyal companionship, adoring gazes, and tail wags. What do you say? Is Cosmo the one you have been looking for? What My Foster Says About Me: Cosmo has been thriving since he set paws in the DMV! He has been described as active, engaged, a social butterfly, friendly, enthusiastic, sweet, and loves other dogs. "He is extremely smart. Cosmo is not the type of dog who wants to relax on the couch all afternoon or take a long nap after thirty minutes of play. He’d rather explore and learn, and has a constant flow of focus and energy. He has not shown an ounce of aggression and is good with both big and little dogs. He loves to wrestle and hug other dogs, and shows off his energy and speed at the dog park! He loves to cuddle and wrestle with humans, and is very soft and gentle with his mouth when playing. Cosmo whines for about a minute when in his crate, but then behaves well. " Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
