Gravy

Hatton Animal Rescue Foundation

The Hatton Animal Rescue Foundation was founded by Gary and Annette Hatton who saw a great gap in our society when it comes to the care and support of special needs animals and seniors. These animals are the ones most left behind and typically deemed un-salvageable or un-adoptable due to their medical conditions and age. We foster many different types of animals with special needs and/or disabilities in the hopes that they will one day be adopted into a loving home. If one cannot be found, we provide the comfort, care and forever home they need. Due to the nature of farm animals being more challenging to adopt out, these special guys typically become our permanent residents! Our amazing team of volunteers are committed to helping animals in our community. We take our convictions and turn them into action.

Meet Gravy

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please email the adoption counselor: [email protected]  and request an adoption application.  Dog's Name:  Gravy (GRA0225BCAMN) Estimated Breed :  Dachshund/Terrier Approximate Age:  4 years Approximate Weight:  14 lbs Currently Living at:  Foster Adoption Fee:  $400   DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Looking for a furry companion who will bring joy, loyalty, and endless love into your home? Gravy is the one for you! This cute little guy is ready to find his forever family. Through no fault of his own, Gravy was surrendered by his owner when they had a new baby. Here’s a little about him:  Personality: Good Gravy! Yes, that's ME. I'm  active and mischievous. So, even if I am 4 years old, I act like a big teenager! I will run around the yard playing with other dogs as long as I can. And, when I'm done getting my ya-yas out, I will bury myself under a blanket or towel and take a nap.  If you sit down to watch tv, and I catch you on the couch,  I'll be right there with you and will curl up in your lap or next to you. Yeah, you don't get away with binging Netflix without ME!. I will bark at strangers (obviously) but as soon as I see there's no threat, they'd better be willing to give me some pets! And, by the way, check out my video, I have one trick I'll perform for you and anyone else - a real crowd pleaser.  Training & Behavior: Seems housetrained if taken outside on a regular schedule.  Health & Wellness: Neutered and up to date on core vaccines.  Perfect Home: I need a home with a  fenced yard because of my activity level. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (for dogs over 6 months old), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee. Sponsor Me! Make a tax-deductible donation today by visiting us at    https://www.hattonanimalrescue.org/sponsor.    Donations help us offset boarding costs and additional medical treatment for those dogs who need it. For more information on Hatton Animal Rescue, visit our website at    hattonanimalrescue.org   .
