Meet Lukas
LUKAS NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Come meet Lukas and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (10/05) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Alexandria, VA (3351 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22305)! Name: Lukas Best Guess for Breed: Lab and shepherd mix Best Guess for Age: 5 months as of September 2025 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 25 lbs as of 9/12/25 - he is still growing! Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here! Special adoption considerations: Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy. Lukas is Looking For: His forever home! Lukas and her sisters Lolita and Maria have had fun growing up together but they're ready to split up and get their own human families. Lukas is eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so he can show how super smart he is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he will want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, he wants to know he is safe and loved. In exchange he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he can store up, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Is Lukas the one you see by your side? What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once this pup has spent time in foster care Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.
